West Stone is the supplier of Alpine Schist, Greywacke Rock and Red Beech Native Tree Stumps sourced from the West Coast of New Zealand.
ALPINE SCHIST - West Stone's Alpine Schist comes in a variety of sizes depending upon the project requirement. This rock can vary from small flat building pieces to over 1 ton rocks for a specific need. Our Alpine Schist is sold ex-Christchurch in 1 ton sacks or bulk orders of 27 ton can be arranged.
GREYWACKE ROCK - West Stone's Greywacke Rock also is available in a variety of finishes including standard grey, red lichen covered or moss covered. This rock can be delivered in a variety of sizes from 1/2 metre pieces through to 2-4 ton large rocks. Minimum order of 27 ton is a requirement with delivery direct to site. Greywacke is a great rock for landscaping, waterways and features - perfect for wetland projects and sub-divisions.
RED BEECH TREE STUMPS - West Stone's Native Red Beech Tree Stumps are perfect for wetland projects where the longevity of the product is essential and the stump needs to survive the test of time. The Red Beech stump has a plate root that varies in size from 1.5 metres through to 4.0 metres and has the same characteristics of a Totara stump. These stumps are available per truck load approx 8-14 stumps (size dependant)and delivered to site.
